Decathlon’s India division reported over Rs 4,000 crore revenue in FY24, achieving profitability with gains of Rs 197.19 crore. The firm’s revenue increased 2.24 per cent compared to FY23. Decathlon’s store sales reached Rs 3,430.67 crore, while e-commerce sales declined slightly. The company plans further investments to enhance its market position in India.

Lopez, who has been associated with Decathlon for the past 26 years has held numerous positions within the company, in digital, logistics and retail. He headed the Germany market for the brand from 2012 to 2015, then served as CEO of Decathlon Spain from 2015 to 2022.
