Caleres has reported Q1 FY26 net sales of $666.6 million, up 8.5 per cent YoY, driven by 20.6 per cent growth in its Brand Portfolio business.
Adjusted EPS rose to $0.38, exceeding guidance, while gross margin improved 200 basis points to 47.3 per cent.
Famous Footwear sales declined 2.5 per cent.
The company expects modest sales growth and improved profitability for full-year FY26.

SVF II Lightbulb Cayman, a SoftBank affiliate, sold 5.65 crore shares, or 3.25%, in Lenskart for Rs 2,873 crore through a block deal on Wednesday. The shares were sold at Rs 508.55 apiece, with Goldman Sachs, Fidelity, Quant Mutual Fund, WhiteOak Capital, and other institutional investors among the buyers. SoftBank’s stake has now fallen to 9.88%.

BIS is proceeding cautiously to set systems right before implementation. Mandatory hallmarking will be introduced gradually. The number of hallmarked silver articles is increasing.
