Puma has appointed Markus Neubrand as chief financial officer (CFO) and management board member, effective October 1, 2024.
Neubrand, formerly CFO at GUESS? Inc, will oversee finance, investor relations, legal, IT, and business solutions.
He succeeds Hubert Hinterseher, who will step down on September 30 and leave the company on December 31, 2024 after a smooth transition.

US’ shirt imports reach $5.2 bn in January-July 2024

The US imported $5.267 billion worth of shirts in the first seven months of 2024, with the average price dropping 10.53 per cent to $69.37 per dozen.
Import volumes also fell compared to previous years.
After a high of $9.078 billion in 2022, import values and prices have declined, indicating slower demand and margin pressure on exporters and manufacturers post-pandemic.
