Erojim Investments Limited, a firm based in Nigeria’s Abia state dealing in fabrics, garments and leather shoes, is keen on partnering with the Akwa Ibom state government to produce footwear and garments.
The proposed partnership is expected to produce 1,500 pairs of shoes and 500 pieces of clothing daily.
The firm hopes to make deeper inroads into Akwa Ibom and neighbouring states in the next few years.

BGMEA and AmCham Bangladesh have welcomed the signing of a reciprocal tariff pact with the US, terming it as a positive development for the apparel sector.
Garments manufactured using US inputs will be exempt from such tariffs and that will improve Bangladesh’s market access to the US, BGMEA noted.
The provision can encourage deeper supply-chain integration and promote value addition, AmCham said.

The funding round, which comprised a mix of equity and debt, also saw participation from Zephyr Peacock along with existing investors Jungle Ventures, Accion Ventures and NBD Ventures.
