Canada’s apparel exports to US jump 28.6% in Jan–May 2025

Despite ongoing political and trade tensions, Canada’s apparel exports to the US surged by 28.61 per cent to $472.12 million during January–May, with the US accounting for over 81 per cent of its total garment exports.
Overall, Canada’s apparel exports grew 16.09 per cent year-on-year.
Trousers and shorts led category-wise exports to the US, followed by coats, jerseys, jackets and blazers, and suits.
